Tenerife, the biggest jewel in the Canary Islands, invites you with open arms. It's easy to reach, thanks to its two international airports, and it's just a short two to four-hour flight from mainland Spain and the rest of Europe.
At the center of Tenerife stands the magnificent Mount Teide, which is the highest peak in Spain at 3,718 meters. With an average temperature of 22 degrees throughout the year, Tenerife gives you the special experience of blending December and August into a warm embrace that feels closer and cozier than anywhere else.
Our School
Within the name of Shambhala lies the essence of our vision for this school.
Shambhala is often depicted as a green, mystical, and hidden village located somewhere in the Himalayas. It represents a place of inner peace, harmony, and spiritual awakening that can be achieved through meditation and self-discovery. A place where one can embark on the journey to understand how to guide the evolution and spiritual development of humanity.
As a Canarian family-owned and operated establishment, we keep our class sizes small (max. 8 students) to provide personal attention and support for each student. In our non-judgmental environment, our dedicated teachers are here to guide you on your yoga journey and help you grow.
Our school, conveniently located in Los Realejos, is a mere 10-minute drive from various natural beaches, with one offering year-round surfing courses for the adventurous souls seeking thrilling experiences. On your well-deserved days off, you have the option to spend time studying or simply relaxing within the peaceful ambiance of the school. Alternatively, you can join fellow students for an invigorating hike in the mountains, an exhilarating kayak tour, or a blissful day at the beach.

During your stay, you will be comfortably accommodated in one of our two double rooms, one single room or one triple room. All of them with Wi-Fi access, and complimentary shower towels for your convenience.
Shared Double Room
The Buganvilla is a double room with private toilet. Buganvilla is located on the house next door (less than 50 meters away), also owned and decorated by us.
This room is fully equipped with all you need for a perfect stay. 2 Single beds, 2 Night tables, Wardrobe, Table and chairs, Wifi Access and Towels. It has access to a shared toilet.
Shared Triple Room
The Higuera room is a triple room with private toilet. Higuera is located just steps away from our yoga shala in the most relaxing part of the school, you will only listen the birds to wake you up!
This room is fully equipped with all you need for a perfect stay. 3 Single beds, 3 Night tables, Wardrobes, Table and chairs, Private en suite toilet with shower/bath-tube, Wifi Access and Towels.
Shared Double Room with Terrace
The special part of this room is the private roof terrace with breathtaking views over the coast and the mountains, with amazing sunrise/sunsets.
The room is fully equipped with all you need for a perfect stay. 2 Single beds, 2 Night tables, Wardrobe, Table and chairs, Private en suite toilet with shower, Wifi Access and Towels.
Single Room
This is a single room located on the house next door (less than 50 meters away), also owned and decorated by us. This room has a terrace overlooking the Ocean.
This room is fully equipped with all you need for a perfect stay. 1 Single bed, 2 Night table, Wardrobe, Table and a Wing Chair, Wifi Access and Towels. The Bathroom is to be shared with other 2 students.
